'Geisha'

This piece is very much inspired by my love of Japanese culture and fashion. I took my time in choosing the perfect colours to work with including the beautiful copper colour I choose to paint the canvas with first. I used different brushes  including brush sizes, widths and even what the bristles of the brush were made of because I wanted my brushstrokes to differ and have a visually awesome effect and catch the viewers eye, My vision was to create this piece rectangular as oppose to square and I did so by using primed canvas that was not stretched and instead I had the canvas mounted on wooden board and then framed in a black wooden frame. This piece already has stainless steel D-Rings with strong stainless steel wire on the back making it ready to hang straight away.
